[Fall 2026: Postdoc at the Stanford Digital Economy Lab, Stanford University]
Welcome! I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Economics at Uppsala University.
My research lies at the intersection of labor and urban economics, with a focus on structural change in labor markets and the hiring and spatial decision making of firms. My doctoral thesis studies the determinants and consequences of the rise in working from home in terms of firm decision making, worker-firm matching, labor market composition, and city structure. I also have ongoing work on firms’ skill demand, assortative matching in labor and marriage markets, and the effects of AI and technological change on the labor market.
I am also affiliated with the Uppsala Center for Labor Studies (UCLS) and Lab^2. In 2024, I visited the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford.
You can find my Uppsala University page here and my CV here.
